Ramey-Estep Homes: Continuum of Care

More Information about the Treatment Foster Care Program

..... The Foster Care Program is for youth ages birth-21 who have worked their way through our Residential Treatment Program and need to move to a less structured, family-type environment and youth referred from outside referral sources.

.....We believe family-based treatment foster care is an essential child welfare service for children who must live apart from their parents but do not require more restrictive residential treatment. We carefully recruit and select treatment foster families that are most appropriate for meeting the individual treatment and family-based care needs of each youth served. We seek to carefully match youth and families. Selection of Treatment Foster Care homes takes into consideration the motivation, competencies, financial stability, home study results, and other pertinent information.
Ramey-Estep Homes began its Treatment Foster Care Program because we are committed to a “treat and keep” philosophy.  We want our youth to continue to receive the same high quality care and attention as in our Residential Program.
